Sony data theft hits over 70m Playstation users

Playstation users first noticed an issue had arisen when the service became unavailable on 20th April, but now Sony has warned gamers that their data has been compromised following a hacking attack on its online service. Apple sue Samsung for copying iPhone / iPad design

Apple is suing technology rival Samsung over claims of copying, stating that the range of Galaxy products (smartphone and tablet) are too similar to the iPhone and iPad’s design. The lawsuit was filed on Friday, alleging Samsung violated Apple’s patents and trademarks. Apple state that the Galaxy tablet copies a large amount of aesthetic design, including the rectangular appearance, rounded corners, black border and arrangement of icons. WebTrends – downloading scenarios using the REST API

Twitter to launch ‘Promoted Tweets’

Following Twitter’s recent announcement that they will be monetising their website using ‘Promoted Tweets’, we have been asking ourselves how successful this move is really likely to prove to be.
